There is a fun little antique store in Lehman Court. After a great lunch at Fortune Star, it is a done deal that you have to peek in. Who knows, they just might have something that has to go home with you. It’s happened to me! This little airplane is available for only $1,500. YOu can have the pair of them for $2,500. This concluded my Lehman Court series. Tomorrow, I’ll take you to Purple Haze…followed by RED on Sunday. Have a great weekend!

How many of the local viewers remember lehman.jpg? It is long gone…and I still miss the mural. Rumor had it that when the museum is built, part of the mural will be displayed. I hope so. Inside Lehman Court are several little shops…and a gym. I have several shots I will be featuring over the next couple of days.

Ah, a few days of the warm stuff and we are out in mass to soak up some rays. Darn those cell phones…an interruption while enjoying coffee in front of Hurricane Coffee Company. (where are the cups) We certainly are tied to them. I try not to leave the house without mine…I tell myself it is in case I have car trouble….it’s not like I get tons of phone calls.

On my night walk around downtown, I was drawn to the window at the“Blue Whole” by this art object. It was only after careful observation I realized they are all Crayola Crayons. I have no idea what they are secured to or how the object was constructed, but I loved seeing it lit in the window.

On Washington Street in downtown Sequim, is a very small storefront, Sequim Bay Merchants.com. Their window caught my eye. I loved the snowman, his sign, and the trees in the background are sticks with marshmellows stuck on the end! It wasn’t until I got home that I realize my snowman was missing an eye in the picture. I don’t know if it was the angle I shot the picture or just what happened. Local viewers will have to stop by and check out some of their unusal gifts.

While waiting for Mass Friday evening, I decided to take a page from my brother Denton and take a walk downtown. This is the Fall window at the downtown store of “Purple Haze”, the folks who started the lavender craze in Sequim. It’s a wonderful place to find lavender scented products, nice people, and unusual gifts. Their website also has wonderful recipes. they include Lavender Honey Bunches, Pear and Lavender Clafoutis, and Lavender Margaritas. A previous “post”shows the out side of the store during the day in late summer.

The Sunshine Cafe is located on the south side of Washington Street in Downtown Sequim. The folks are friendly; the cuisine is hardy, and the peanut butter pie is to die for. You will find lots of locals who frequent the cafe. With all the rain and wind we have had of late, we could use somemore sunshine.
