House for sale

I always admire this house when I go by and it’s been for sale for a while. I thought it was just a little house, almost a cabin, from the road but when I looked up it’s listing there is quite a lot more to it.

This is pretty fancy! Don’t know what I’d do with that wine cellar….our taste is strictly 3 buck Chuck! Maybe a good Bomb Shelter..anyone remember those in the 60′s? Love the wood throughout..when we thought of building years ago, we looked at the Lindel Cedar Home Plans. And 6 acres plus! Love the little waterwheel out front. Prices are really tumbling down, this is a good price.

I’ve thought the same as you, Shannon. It’s much less modest than it looks. And that may be a fancy wine cellar, but it looks like you’ve got to be pretty sober and agile to get into it. I’ve seen s-o-o-o-o many houses that have been on the market for months and months. I feel sorry for all the people who’d like to get on with their lives but can’t.

I’d buy it and move to Sequim right now – I mean just after I won the lottery – or pay off my house in NM, sell it, and move to Sequim (still would need to win the lottery to buy this one me thinks.)

Larry, I wish you could! I’d love to hit the lottery and be able to buy something like that for my parents and pad their accounts so they didn’t have to worry about money and could just enjoy life. And while I’m dreaming, I hope it’s big enough to do that for myself too and a few more people.
That place gets a lot of deer and it’s in a really peaceful setting. Kind of a high traffic road though, for this area at least.
Kay, I know what you mean and so many of them are houses that you’d think would sell right away but they just sit there and then you see the price reduced and reduced but still they sit. I remember how different of a scenario it was when we first moved up here and the years shortly after that…everything was booming and prices were kind of crazy.
