It’s hard to believe, but Sunny Farms has onion sets in.   The forecast is for sun through Monday.  I know it’s too early….at least for my yard.

Update on Flat Stanley….while visiting my sister, he tried on spurs; visited my sister’s green house; and practiced snow angels in the snow. (see thumbnails)  He is now on his way to Oklahoma to visit my nephew.

The trees in the median at Costco look like they could bud out any time.  Too soon, too soon.

It was a blustery, cold day the last time the Bumble Berry Belles (aka my card group) got together to play cards.  This photo was taken from the comfort of my car.

I really want the coral bark tree, but won’t pay the price.  I console myself with the fact the deer would probably chew on it.

Spend sometime with someone you love.  I did.  Happy Valentines Day.

Flat Stanley arrived in my mailbox yesterday!  We took a tour of the backyard, inspecting the latest mole hills and then toured the quilt room where I took his picture with one of my old Valentine’s Day quilts..  Stanley is now one his way to West Texas to visit my sister…I hope he doesn’t freeze.  They have had lots of snow.
