1st Quilt

My friend’s first quilt…and she had to pick a king size. It has fabrics from her grandma’s stash in the old farm house. We almost got it tied last night…but our fingers gave out. We will finish Saturday.

This was a familiar scene in my home when I was a child. Quilting is a labor of love; it is so exacting. Your photo shows the pattern quite nicely.

I didn’t know you were a quilter. I have to get busy, as two grandsons need upsizing for Christmas. I may not make it in time. I coulduse that huge table, though–or space to put it.
