This a photo I took when I adopted Blueberry from Safehaven. Those folks do good work.
Today is the first day of fall quarter…I’m ready. I’m sure my students are too.

Delivery Man! He likes his job…told me he gets exercise, gets outside, and he gets paid. Doesn’t get much better than that. Sandwiches, salads, drinks are in his icebox. I confess that I saw the article in the Gazette last fall, but I don’t remember the name of the business. Any locals out there know?
According to the article in the Gazette, the main building of the Town Square Complex, is being resurfaced in September and October. It surprised me to learn the building is the oldest in the city and was built about 1900 by Charles Franklin Seal. In 1905 he added the Sequim Opera House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Yesterday just went to you know where in a hand basket. I am reposting a photo from two years ago on this date.
Recently I posted the memorial at Port Williams (see below). This time of year it is indeed one of my favorite places to go and look, listen and walk. The second thumbnail shows that it is also a favorite place for others to gather. These gentle fishermen where enjoying the sun and a cup of coffee when they were approached by a young lady handing out religious tracts. I have no idea what was said, but as one left, he had a pamphlet in his hand.
Shannon, my guest host while I recuperated from shoulder surgery, sent me those photos of what she found in one of her planters this week. We suspect he might be someones pet…he/she is tame enough to be picked up. Anyone local who knows rabbits and promises to provide an excellent home, send me an email. I would like to see he/she fat and sassy in a nice hutch…not having to avoid predators, or angry neighbors when he/she munches on flowers, and, heaven forbid, breeding.
