Looks like they have the framework up for the greenhouse.  Things are moving along.

I thought I had featured Jan’s Country Garden before, (located on Obrien Road), but when I went to look, apparently not.  She has a small patch of veggies this year too.

I took a friend by to see the George Washington Inn Bed and Breakfast, located about two miles from my house.  Shannon shared it with you once before.  I’m checking out places to host the next family reunion/annual meeting.  This might be a possibility.

The geese are starting to fly…literally and figuratively.  Too bad about that shadow of the tree.  I was in my car and waiting for the light.

I could make a puzzle out of this one…but I’ll just tell.  The plum tree is loaded, but it’s a race to get to see who will enjoy them…me or Bambi and his mate.  In all the years I’ve lived in this home, I’ve only seen one deer…this year they came by at least twice.  The strange looking fruit is a nylon sock filled with a combination of dried blood and cayenne pepper (according to the package).  It is suppose to be a deterrent.

It’s melon season and the ones at Sunny Farms have been excellent.

No clue what it is…any ideas?
