 Saw this truck in town and thought it was pretty cool.

Norma is home and resting up :-)

Norma aka Lavender Lady is coming home today:-)  It involves a flight and a drive so I hope both go okay for her.

NORMA UPDATE 7:30 Norma made it home safely.  I spoke with her very briefly and I hope she is getting some much deserved rest right now.

My husband and I have been spending most our time in the garden lately.  This is the first year we’ve done one so it’s definitely a learning experience.  This is the cucumber trellis and pea trellis he built for us.

We were out driving and saw this gentleman riding his bike with his dog in front of him and we had to stop and ask if we could take his picture.  It was quite a sight.  He was very friendly : – )

Norma Update: 10:30 a.m.  Just spoke with Norma at the hospital and she sounded good.  They ran into some unexpected things during the surgery, so it took longer than expected, but she’s doing okay and will be coming home tomorrow I believe.

Norma’s surgery is scheduled for 12:30 today.  As soon as I hear something, I’ll update the site and let you know how she is doing.  We are thinking of you Norma and sending good thoughts your way.

UPDATE 9:00 p.m.: I tried the hospital twice tonight and they didn’t have information.  Then I just got a call from her family who said the surgery took longer than expected, but that she was in recovery and doing okay.  That’s all I know for now.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow;
I am the softly falling snow.

I am the gentle showers of rain;
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush;
I am in the graceful rush.

Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.

I am the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.
