They aren’t very big, as you can see when compared to the primrose in the background.  I think they came in an Easter planting from a couple of years ago, but I wouldn’t swear to it.

The good news is a very special nephew is on his way with 4 housemates.  They are touring the Northwest on their spring break and have decided to spend one evening with the auntie.  I remember the last time he was here.  I flew each of the boys out when they were 12 to spend a week with me; no mom or dad or grandma.  Very special memories!

The new Discount Tire shop is getting closer to being open.  I wasn’t sure why we needed a new tire store, but the good news is it created jobs and a neighbor down the street, “Above the Best Landscaping”,  got the job of putting in the landscape.  It is going to look really nice.

Not much to say about it.  Just an unusual tree near the bridge.

The good news is spring break is just around the corner!

It could be late fall, or the dead of winter, but if my calendar serves me correctly, we have four more days till spring, not that I’m counting. I posted other pictures from Robin Hill.  Just search the archives.

The good news is although the guys didn’t win their soccer match, it was a great game!  They lost by one point.  For a while there I was sure we were going in to overtime.   Grandma has a great time!

The forecast is for rain, high winds, possibly slushy snow.  I didn’t have a picture for today, so I pulled this one out of a lovely lavendar patch last summer.

The good news is the guys are playing in the finals for the indoor soccer league today.

Spring is coming…and I’m trying to give it a little head start.

I was on the way to work Thursday morning about 7:00 a.m.  Looking to the west toward Blue Mountain, the moon was on it’s way to bed.  I pulled off on Sequim Avenue close to The Lodge to get this shot.  It made me smile.

And speaking of smiling…if you haven’t watched the NBC nightly news lately, try to catch the last 5 minutes.  They are featuring “Good News” stories in these trying economic times.  We all need a little good news.
