Originally scheduled as the first day of spring break, the kids had to go back to school today.  Too much snow this winter.

Across from Sunny Farms on 101 is Bliemisters.  They are a premier cabinet shop.  About 8 years ago, they did the remodel on my kitchen.  I’m still as happy with my cabinets as the day they installed them.

Note the snow in the mountains…and didn’t Mother Nature get the memo about spring?  It’s suppose to snow again tonight down at the 1000′ level.

What do you get if you cross a daffodil with a crocodile?
I don’t know but I wouldn’t try sniffing it!

You might have to be the Grandmother of a 4th grader to appreciate that one!  These were spotted in front of Sunny Farms.

I didn’t leave the house today, hence I’ve made the thumbnail from my March 6th post today’s picture.

Hot, hot!  The weather was cold, the fire was warm.

(Another shot from The Old Mill Cafe) I couldn’t find the owner to ask the name or what it does, but I am assuming it has something to do with the logging/mill industry.

And the good news is it is now officially spring…and I couldn’t be happier.

After the boys left this morning, I had lunch with some friends at The Old Mill Cafe.  Although I don’t think they were old,  this blue glass made a nice picture.

And the good news is the boys were great fun.  They ate everything I served, made polite conversation, stripped their beds before they left, and said “Thank You” more than once.  Their parents would be proud and they can come and visit again anytime they want.
