Oh no! Our Sequim Library is closed for remodel! But wait…if you are a North Olympic Library System patron, there is still a way to get something to read, watch, and listen to. Log on to the NOLS website. Use the online card catalog and put a hold on what you would like to check out. Once the items arrive, you are notified by email or phone. The “Holds” are available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Once you are notified, you stop in during the appropriate time, find your holds by the letter of your last name, and then check out your materials. That was easy. I’m in the thumbnail picking up a new book on CD.

The remodel is going to be awesome…and I know it will be perfectly done…because Eli, of next door neighbors “Shannon and Eli” fame, is the foreman on the job.

Looking for an office space?  One is available on North Fifth in a nice small medical facility.

Fine dining in Sequim can be found at Cedar Creek. Located on North 5th Avenue, Cedar Creek has a lot of flavor in it’s food and ambiance in the facility. I’ve only been privileged to eat there twice and I enjoyed both times.

I posted this photo before in November. My heart is in my garden now, even thought it is cold, and frozen. I want to walk these paths and hear the birds sing. I know. Patience.
