Sold Out!

While waiting for my car to be finished, (tune up time), I walked down to check the progress on the new Bell Street Bakerybellstreet.jpg…and discovered not only were they open…they had Sold Out!  Apparently the retail store was taking longer to finish than anticipated, so they decided to start selling from the bakery itself.  While I was there, I spoke with this gentleman, and I confess I neglected to find out if he was Roger or Doug.  dougroger.jpg  I also got a shot of the big machinebakingmachine.jpg all these goodies are baked in.  Later I’ll show you the progress on the retail store.  For previous posts on the bakery, click here and here.

No matter your hurry, it is worth the wait to make sure those who ride a school bus get home safely.  Kudos to the Sequim Schoolbus drivers for their hard work and dedication.  One motioned me to roll a window down last week as I waited in the wee hours at a crossroad.  She let me know I had a headlight out.

Candlelight

It was my turn to host my Beta group last night.  In February we announce our Chapter Sweetheart, so it was a potluck with a Valentine’s theme.  I dug out the Tupperware Rose china, dusted off the wine glasses and set a very pretty table.  When I remembered to take a picture, it was the candles that were left…that or the wine glasses waiting by the sink to be washed.  (thumbnail)

My neighbor was having some trees taken down. It always makes me a little sad to see a tree cut down. When I had to do it, 4 more were planted. I’ll be gone when the next person has to deal with trees that get blown down in high winds.

I really liked the guesses from yesterday…especially the camera shy one.

I’ll show you tomorrow.

This lovely path is part of the Discovery Trail and is about 2 blocks from my home.  Going west, you can get to Port Angeles.  Headed east will take you by Robin Hill Farm, Railroad Bridge, and on in to Sequim.

Tuesday I had the joy of looking at this as I drove to work.  It was almost like the trees were on fire. Where was the mono pod when I needed it?
