This vintage juicemaker sits on the counter at Olympic Restaurant Equipment.  In answer to Patricia’s question  yesterday…a stock pot is on my list for Mother’s Day.  Bebe, the cat, will get it for me.

One of those nice tall shiny stockpots is what I have my eye on…just what we need the next time we make mole.

I finally had time on Monday to stick my head in the new Olympic Restaurant Equipment  store on the corner of 101 and Dryke.  I’ve watched this beautiful building go up in previous posts.   Inside is everything a chef could want….and that would include the “at home chef” too.  There is a stock pot I have my eye on.  I’ll be posting some other shots tomorrow.

Per my sister’s request, I’ve shared the goody I picked up from Bell Street Bakery.  It was mighty tasty!

Friday evening several of us went to the local grange for a spagetti dinner.  It was also a fund raiser for Peninsula Friends of the Animals.  The food was good, the company was excellent, the music, provided by a couple of the Old Time Fiddlers, was fun, and it all went to a good cause.  Blueberry, aka, Bebe,  came from these good folks and I have a soft spot in my heart for all they do.

I’ve heard Valentine’s Day called a Hallmark Holiday.  I don’t believe that.  This is from my Grandmother Meredith’s collection, circa 1920.  And a special Valentine greeting to all of you who stop by to visit from time to time.

This is the photo I should have shown for Feb. Theme day.  It’s a wonderful center and if a massage is in your future, see if Nancy has an opening.
