The pumpkin pig people are back at Sunnyfarms.  Last year they were on a hay wagon.  This year, it is just a bale of hay.  That’s some dress she has this year, yet somehow, with out his pink pants of last year, they seem more sedate.

At the soccer game on Wednesday, Lana, the dog, was the only one holding still enough for me to get some good pictures.  Great game…the team played well, some nice plays that went together…I don’t even remember the score.  It was just a pleasure watching them play and having a great time.

As I left work today, I happened to notice these pinecones high above.    The tree was loaded.   And a postscript…on the advice of my sister, the nap was great!

I’ve had a small hiccup in my life  and have missed several posts.  Like BeBe, I want to grab a catnip toy and just hind kick it.  Instead, I will rise to the occasion…tomorrow is always another day.  Have a good one.

Sorry about not posting yesterday…I had guests and we had to do a “Stash Dash” (another photo op).The Festival pictures end with a doggy backpack, a walk through a septic, movers and shakers of the festival, and the Audubon building at the river.

The Dungeness River is only 32 miles long.  It is the second steepest river in the U.S.   river3.jpg  rocks.jpg
