oldmillcafe.jpg It was too hot to cook dinner…I know, any old excuse, but really, it was too hot!  I’ve had lunch at the Old Mill Cafe on Carlsborg Road, but never dinner.  I’ll be back again.  The food was excellent.  There were 4 of us, and we all were very pleased with our dinner.   Tomorrow it is suppose to cool down a bit.  I certainly hope so.  Summer has finally arrived with vengeance.  Be careful what you wish for.

dungenesskid.jpg It’s located in the QFC complex.  I hope it makes it.  For the locals, notice the new paint job?  No idea when they did it as I don’t get over that way often.  Certainly looks nice.

greenpond.jpg I had some time to kill yesterday between meetings, so I stopped by the water reuse project in Sequim.  There was a great place to sit, read the paper,  and enjoy the lovely day.  I was struck by the amount of green algae in the pond.    I surely hope it is suppose to be that way.   I’m willing to bet I know why the signs are purple.  If you visited my blog before, I’ll bet you know too.

blog1.jpgThe work continues…and I think it is going to be a lovely building.  A previous post appears here.

On the corner of Washington and Sequim Dungeness you can find lots of places to shop, meet friends, and see Sequim.   I planned to have a coffee and do paperwork at the Hurricane while I was waiting for my  car to have an oil change.  I ended up meeting a friend and having a great chat.

Today is the last day of the APNQ quilt show in Seattle.  It is hard to describe the quality of quilts…they are outstanding.
