Annual “In the Lavender” Picture

I’m interrupting my Sequim, from the air, series to bring you our annual “In the lavender” photo. We took almost 40 photos before we came up with one that turned out pretty good of all three of us. My baby girl is four, my big boy is nine, and let’s just say it will be a monumental birthday in September. For some reason I have had several inquires on my update on the Lavenderlady page in the last few days. I’ve added the latest doctor’s report for those interested. I appreciate the good wishes and concern.

First, my apologies for a bit of cut and paste commenting. I have been doing the rounds via Bloglines and looking at all the pictures from my favourite photo blogs, but haven’t been leaving comments. Generally, I try to comment as much as I can (I know how good it is for ‘morale’ to know that someone is out there appreciating them), but after the birth of my second son, I am a bit knackered to think up something witty and insightful on the hop. Thus the resort to Control+C and Control+P!

This is an outstanding photo; all of you look terrific. I left a note for you on your other blog regarding your health. I’m still surprised that I missed all of this, but hope that your recovery will progress well and quickly!

I love this photo of you and your two wonderful grandchildren. The coloring is supurb and your expressions are so sweet.

So sweet! These are times to treasure with them! Last year hubby & I got our photo taken at the Jardien de Soliel Farm….we used it for a Christmas newsletter. It made all our family & friends jealous!

¡Feliz Cumpliaños! Really 60?! So young to have accomplished so much! It just gets better and better, dear Norma. I was in high school when you were born! I could have been your baby sitter I’d have taught you to knit, but then the world might have lost a great quilter!
