With all of the unseasonably wet and cold weather we have had as of late, it surprised me to see this farmer sprinkling his crop. I’ve posted a picture of this barn before in a different season.
My big boy is in third grade and last night was his first recorder concert. As Grandma, I was sitting right there in the front row. He did a magnificent job…as did all of his classmates. My compliments to the music teacher. The performance was excellent and the students really seemed to enjoy performing. (We have great schools and excellent teachers in Sequim.)

Just down the road is new construction. The local restaurant supply house has decided to move out of Sequim proper and relocated almost halfway between Sequim and Port Angeles. I was amazed that once they started framing, the walls went up in a hurry.
P.S. Notice that sky. While the rest of the country is experiencing it’s share of weird weather…we are right there too. Summer has not arrived here. I wore a sweatshirt most of the weekend.
