Robin Hill Farm: Proper environment for disc golf?

biker.jpgI stopped to take the photo of the parent and child flying a kite in one of the meadows in Robin Hill Farm County Park when this biker flashed in front of me on the Discovery Trail.  I have featured photos of both places  several times on my blog.  I am bringing it to the attention of local viewers today because tomorrow evening there is an opportunity for public input at a Parks meeting at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleary Rd.,  at 6:00 p.m.  At that time the County Parks will be make a presentation regarding a proposed 18 hole disc golf course to be constructed in Robin Hill Farm Park.  After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for public input.  I plan on attending this meeting.  Until a neighbor brought this proposal to my attention, I didn’t have a clue.   Currently the idea of a golf course in a farm/woodland park setting does not seem logical, but I plan to go, listen, and then offer my opinion.  I would invite other interested Sequim residents to also attend.

  1. Thanks for attending (and advertising) the meeting…
Again, I missed it. Perhaps I’ll settle down one of these days.
