A new use for a development

On Old Olympic, just past Carlsborg Road, as it turns into Cays Road, you will find paved roads and electrical boxes running through what used to be farmland. A year or two ago, it was subdivided and lots went up for sale. With the down turn in the housing market, nothing sold…so they planted hay again. Looks like a smart move to me!

I wont feel sad for it staying farm land a little while longer. Here they have the streets built, lights up and no houses.

Rectangular bales of hay! I thought those balers had all been replaced by the circular bale … Interesting post showing a positive effect of a housing downtown.

Pretty rural picture. I’m glad someone was smart enough to return the land to what it originally was used for.
