Stockings come in all sizes, shapes and descriptions. This one was made by a member of the “Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club”. They are given to the local child protective services, filled with goodies, and then given to local foster children. I hope that Santa visits your home tonight, fills your stocking with peace, love, hope, and visits with family. I plan to spend some time Christmas Day visiting with my DP family.

Feliz Navidad from Villa Morelos.

My Nativity set is from Israel, given to me by a college roommate. I think it is from olive wood. I’ve enjoyed it for many years and it reminds me of Kris.

I know we will go to a Los Posada celebration.

I’ve mentioned The Lodge before. I wish this were my tree…it is so lovely. The residents are enjoying it and I get to see it everytime I stop to visit.

I think we are in Morelia today.

Remember how I shared with you that Oliver was the perfect cat? He always gets me what I want for my birthday and Christmas. It never fails to fit and is just the right color! Well, he decided I should have this arrangement from my favorite florist, Sofie’s. The house is a Thomas Kincaid and was part of an arrangement given to me by friends when I had the first hip replaced. I had kept it and always wanted to use it again.
What a cat!

I miss my Oliver. I will be adopting another companion into my home when I return from Mexico. There will never be another Oliver, but there is room in my home and heart for another furry friend.

Well, the choices are getting shorter (note the one at the end) and less and less. I hope you will have yours at home and soon to be decorated.

Today we arrive in the Villa Morelos area where my son in law grew up. Can you find it on the map. It is north and west of Morelia, Mexico.

I attended a family Christmas party for one of our local companies. I loved the entertainment, marionettes, almost as much as the younger crowd! This little froggie had us all laughing and singing.
I will be out of town, spoiling the Grandkids, the rest of this week. I promise to visit soon on my return. Thanks for stopping by.

That last sentence is true. We are on our way from the state of Chiapas to the state of Michocan.

Christmas…friends, parties, family…eat, eat, eat. This looked like a good choice and it was different!

I suspect I will have eaten so many different foods on this trip…and I can’t wait to try them all. We leave Tuxtepec today to head north to Michocan.
