Who would think you would have some place named “Texas” in Washington State…but sure enough, travel up Taylor Cut Off to Lost Mountain Road and you will end up in a beautiful little spot high in one of the local mountains. You may have to travel through clouds…and make sure you have good weather. It’s beautiful there.

Today is the feast of our Lady of Guadalupe. I am sure we will see signs of the celebration.

I love the names of the roads one travels to get to this spot. Your photo is wonderful: great colours, picturesque subject and bits of snow for atmosphere. Great!

Those Texas people always say they’re the best, the biggest, the brightest – maybe one of them saw this gorgeous little piece of heaven and stamped their moniker on it.

Dude. I LIVE there. That is MY CAR in the driveway. You may have noticed the HIGHLY CREEPED OUT people staring at you from the gaps in the curtains.

(You wouldn’t believe how many photographers we get up there; or at least, we did, until that barn fell down. )
