You will spot these signs on street corners…but not on street signs. It doesn’t seem like it has been that long ago that Sequim passed an ordinance against posting garage sale signs and other flyers on city property. Actually, it seems to be working pretty well. Today’s thumbnail caught my eye as I was driving out of the neighborhood…unfortunately it was a “look alike” and not an old piece.

Washington apples…nothing quite like them!

Today is my younger brother Denton’s birthday. If you can, stop by and wish him a happy day.

Although technically not in Sequim, I am getting in very early this morning.  This powerplant is located along the Hood Canal close to Hoodsport and was in my archives.  I promise you will see Sequim tomorrow.

Today is my birthday…I am now offically really old. Baby girl, my big boy and I will be celebrating with pizza.

I am in the air flying back from Texas and unable to consult my local sources about the history of this artifact.  Do any of my local viewers have any information?

Located on top of Mike’s Bikes on West Sequim Bay Road, I think this is one cool windvane.

I am still in Texas…wind is blowing…but not as hot.

On East Washington is one of the older Sequim Parks.  It honors those who made the Sequim Valley the place it is today.  I took this picture when I was on a hunt for just the right photo for theme day….I share it with you now.  The partly obsecured sign reads “You are invited to enjoy this park, privately owned and maintained by Sequim Prarie Garden Club.  Help us keep it beautiful.”

I’ll be home on the 12th.
