2 Days and Counting…

Those of who live in Sequim awoke to soggy skies this morning…our Sunny Sequim had changed. By afternoon the rain had stopped. On my home from class, I stopped by Angel Farm and took these pictures. The fragrance was heavenly!

The thumbnails show…1) a sign to welcome you to the farms…don’t forget you need an admission button which will get you in to all the farms, 2) the deep purple banner that marks the entrance to each of the farms, and 3) some of the many colors of lavender available.

A wonderful photograph that must be heavenly to step into a scene like that and the bees must be having a field day. I would go for the bees as the scent might foul up my allergies.

ce champs de lavande est magnifique. ma grand-mère faisait secher la lavande et la mettait entre les draps dans les armoires, cela donner une superbe odeur aux draps..nostalgie, nostalgie

this fields of lavender is splendid. my grandmother made dry the lavender and put it between cloths in the cupboards, that to give a superb odor to cloths. .nostalgie, nostalgia

I presume it was smelling good
I say “was” because it is time to cut it, isn’t it ?
I already cut all my lavender’s flowers (I have not plenty, enough though) and let them dry then put them in little bags in the middle of my sheets

J’arrive de Valensole. Les champs de lavande y ont perdu cette gloire colorée. Les récoltes sont terminées, sauf sur quelques parcelles devenues presque grises. Mais l’ennivrement reste au rendez-vous tant les parfums sont lourds… Merci pour cette maginfique image !
