Master Painters

At the Master Gardners Demonstration Garden on Saturday, artists from the Sequim Art Guild set up shop and painted nature at its finest. I enjoyed watching the artists at work. Members had various styles and approaches. They also had some of their work for sale in the outdoor classroom.
I’ve included some thumbnails of the painters and more of the gardens.

I used to do this. Paint. An oil painter. My largest was 12 by 6 feet and hangs in a school. I do not miss the smells of turpentine and poppy seed oils.

I like your photograph today because it brought back those memories of nearly 50 years ago when I thought it was possible to make a living as an artist or painter.

Norma, I really love your new photo format with multiple photos of the same theme.

The painter in the large photo is really talented. The sunflower on his easel is amazing. I wish I can draw. But that gene doesn’t run in my family.
