Such a peaceful view. A shame though about the dead pines. This Pine Beetle Infestation has devastated so much of our forests. When I drive through the coastal mountains, hectare after hectare are diseased!
I think the scene is magnificent. I like your photograph of it but then I see a sign that looks like it says, “For Sale.” Taxes? Foreclosure? Things like this happen here all the time. The cows in the pasture don’t seem to mind.

Just a Lily today, plus a shaft of sunshine on my oak tree. A blessing for a bountiful crop — I hope. Brookville Daily Photo
I am wondering how much longer people will feel the freedom (financial freedom?) to drive through the countryside. I have always loved taking long country drives with no destination in mind.
Beautiful vista with a glimpse of a lake behind the pasture. I see that whole line of pines not looking so good. I hope that isn’t disease.
Too pretty to be destroyed.
A lovely rural scene, the green pasture, the cattle and the winding road. Looks like a great place for a leisurely drive. Such a shame about the pine trees in the background, like one of your other viewers, at first glance I thought it was autumn colour, but decided it was the wrong time of the year.

I’ll say exactly the same than Olivier, how to do if not ?
The view is so peaceful and I would like to know which are this ginger trees
I like the turning road and wonder where it is going
I ever wonder that when i don’t see the end of the road.
Oh ! I read Brenda who said that they are pine trees !
I beleive they are died because completly dry.
As ever, I like the green grass on the side of the road

Hi, I’m a sequimarian–that’s Maple View Farm, the last remaining large dairy farm in the area. There is lots of more of it to the right. The sign probably says not to enter–that’s a road into some sort of water reuse area that the city put on some land they purchased from the Smiths. And that’s Sequim Bay in the background. I think the trees are just reflecting the late day light.
