Some of you know that I keep looking at garden sheds. I spotted these at Home Depot…but on closer examination, I found that the second one from the end was a playhouse. It is adorable! Hum.house.JPG If I won a lottery I could decide between a new camera or the playhouse for baby girl. Playhouse-camera, playhouse-camera. Well, I guess that would entail buying a ticket.

Angela ask what the streamers where hanging down above the table…ta da! But grandma forgot to stop and get candy. I was going to put coins inside, but big grandson said no…he would just keep it. Baby girl pulled a sulk on that one! I must get it together!

Grandson turned 21 today. Here is the set up before the gang all arrived. I didn’t get a shot of afterwards…busy cleaning up, but we served 20 guests chicken fajitas, rice, beads, cake and flan. A great time was had by all.

I can’t help but wonder how some of the older folks in town feel as they drive south on Sequim Dungeness and view part of the old Methodist Church being demolished. When Trinity United Church built a new church, they sold it to the Boys and Girls Club. When the new Boys and Girls club was built, the building was then sold to local performing arts group. They are in a third stage of remodeling and the North side of the building had to go.
Watch for photos of their new digs.

I suppose the most common time to light the candles on a German Christmas Pyramid would be…well, Christmas. I love mine! I picked it up back in 1982 when I lived in Germany and for the most part, it stays out. My grandbabies love it.

PS. I have a new computer and I am anxious to visit. See you soon!

The Sequim Irrigation Festival is over a month away, but when you attend various functions around town you are liable to see these lovely ladies. They were selected as Irrigation Queen and Princesses for the 112th Irrigation Festival, where “Water is Wealth”. They had their work aprons on today. The Sequim Soroptimist Club was hosting their annual Flower and Garden Show. Hopefully I will be able to share some lovely photos from the show this up coming week.

Last Tuesday I had lunch with some dear friends. For a number of years I was a member of “The Premiers” investment club. We had such a great time and I learned so much. Circumstances…life changes…caused us to disband, but once every two months we get together and catch up…and trade a stock tip of two.

The Paradise Restaurant is an old standby for Sequim. Nothing remarkable, but it does have a very nice back room where we can chat and “hear each other”. (I’m the youngest at 58) Ah, the pleasures of getting older.
