Sunflowers

One of the many hats I wear is that of quilter and appreciater. This beautiful quilt was on the garden tour. You would have thought I could have gotten the picture without a thumb in it, but apparently not.

Day Four of my vacation. Today is my last day in Stratford, TX. This is a farming and petroleum area. They even grow sunflowers here and they are beautiful!

P.S. We had tornado warnings, thunder and lightning last night. Thankfully we didn’t have to take shelter.

I’ve heard about tornado warning in Texas on TV a few hours ago. I’m glad everything’s fine with you… I guess the weather is so for being at home… wrapped up with the beautiful quilt!

Gee, I have some Texas sunflowers coming up in my garden. The seed, at least, is from Texas Wildflower Farm. I hope they’re as pretty as the sunflower quilt you show today.

That is a beautiful quilt. Must have taken months to complete it. It looks too precious to use but I don’t think it’s meant to be used as a quilt.

I will be moving to the Sequim area and was dissapointed there was no longer a quilt shop in town You mentioned being a “quilter” yourself. Where oh where does one find the nearest quilt shop. I love this quilt !
