March 28, 2007 - Have a Seat

bench.jpg
I thought this was a clever use of an old garden gate. It was one of the many things I admired on a garden tour.

Day Three of my vacation. I am now in the Texas Panhandle. Today will be spent mostly with relaxing, visiting, and inspecting my sister’s new hardwood floors. She and her husband are avid remodelers…and darn good at it too!

un banc tres sympathique, cela doit etre agreable d’etre là et de boire son café

a bench very sympathetic nerve, that must be pleasant there to be and to drink its coffee

I really do like this place to stay. I would like to have one bench. I have none though
Your picture is so neat I like it too

I can see the reflection of the drying washing in the window
It’s the reflection of the life…

Norma, there is a rustic charm about this photo, and many others of yours. They make me feel relaxed and comfortable!

This is a delightful and charming bench. I wish I had thought of that use for a gate. I hope you are enjoying your vacation, Norma.

I think every Texas house should have a front porch, one for enjoying, for sitting and talking with friends. This looks like it fits the bill.
