Angela ask what the streamers where hanging down above the table…ta da! But grandma forgot to stop and get candy. I was going to put coins inside, but big grandson said no…he would just keep it. Baby girl pulled a sulk on that one! I must get it together!

oh a piñata!
this is so amusing! we used to had one in each birthday when we were kids. But in the last 25th birthday party of a friend we have one of this, and it was really fun to remember how it was!

Get it together?? I have a pretty good idea how much heavy stuff got moved just to make room, plus all the food, etc. Baby girl will survive.

The one time we set a Piñata up for a birthday the kids had a hard time busting it open. They had a great time but I had to stay vigilant to insure no ones head got busted open.

I’m glad to see this incorporated into American culture eventhough it is of Mexican (??) origin.

At my niece’s 10th birthday last year, my brother and his wife hosted an outdoor BBQ in the park and bought a pinata for the kids to “wack”. It was funny to watch them line up to for a chance to hit the pinata. But most interestingly, almost all the kids (including my nieces) are asian.
