Another Beauty

This beauty sits next to the South off ramp on Sequim dungeness Way…less than a mile from downtown. You can see those light poles I posted earlier. I confess I don’t know it’s history, but I love the look of it.

To me, there is not very much more emotional or beautiful than a very old barn. There’s one near hear that I took a photo of in a winter storm last year but when I went back to get a capture of it in springtime, they had demolished it.

I shed tears. Oh, the history these boards could tell if possible.

Great picture. The moss on the roof gives this lovely old barn such character. Nice composition.

That’s a beautiful picture. But my real reactions are: (1) it looks like a set for a horror movie where some teens are going to get murdered, but not before illegally consume some beer; (2) rats and snakes and spiders. Yes, I do have a vivid imagination.

What is it about old weathered barns that we love? The shape of this one is unusual and appealing. Any animals in there?
