Winter Fishing – Repost

I stopped by “Salt Creek” today and found this avid fisherman trying out his flyrod. He didn’t catch a thing while I was there. I will be sharing some other pictures of one of my favorite recreation areas close to Sequim.

Fishing… wow… you need so much patiente for that!! but it’s a good way to isolate yourself without giving any reason… Silence, the river and the hidden fish..

I think it takes patience to be a fisherman, something I’m find lacking in myself. That said, I love the serene mood of the photo.

The reflections are great. I first noticed the man’s reflection then the post, then the grass. And then on a third look I see the reflection of the trees in the bend in the river behind the fisherman. I may have to look and fourth and fifth time.

The reflections are great! I also like the quiet stillness.
