Fuschia fairies

Fuschias are one of the magical flowers I remember from my childhood. They grow beautifully in California but are less abundant because of our colder winters in Washington state. They are massed in profusion at Butchart Gardens but this dainty pair caught my eye.

  1. This is amazing, Kay! What a great eye you have. They do look exactly like what I would picture fairies to look like! If I were lucky enough to have taken this shot I would frame it and hang it. It’s unique and a delight in every way!

  2. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fuschia before. Very pretty & so unusual! I can definitely see why you call them fairy-like.
