Today’s Theme Day topic, Nature, is my favorite subject. For me it’s impossible to narrow down to a single photo. Or even a single concept. “Magnificence” comes to mind as it broadly encompasses the beauty of the natural world. Here, Washington’s Hoh Rainforest teems with so much life it’s hard to tell where water ends and forest begins.
And yet, in the moonscape desert of Death Valley in California the magnificence of time and elements never fails to evoke its own form of awe.
Nature’s creatures are another wonder. Who can ignore the wild majesty?
Great or small, Nature surrounds us with magnificence.

Great post for the theme, Kay. You live in a area that has so much nature beauty. We used to live in Portland and I loved walking through the forests that were around Mt. Hood. The humming bird is gorgeous. Nice photos as always!
Much as I bemoan all the rain, living near the rain forest is hard to beat. Though eagles are near the top of my of “photo subject” list.
If I had to pick a favourite here, it would be that eagle. Beautiful images!
Gosh…your wonderful photos continue to remind me that I need to visit Washington (sooner than later). You captured the natural beauty of the area and wildlife well.
We have an abundance of wonderful nature sites because we are fortunate to have such diversity in our landscapes. Great shots to demonstrate that.
