I love seeing these Shires, draft horses that have working roles on a nearby farm. They’re hearty and furry but I suspect they’re looking forward to spring like the rest of us.

I like this photo, reminds me of a holiday card. I bet they’ll be glad with the arrival of spring too.
These are impressive horses. I can imagine that it’s cold for them, too, even with their heavy coats!

Handsome animals. Most big animals like cows and horses don’t show much of a reaction to weather. I wonder if they are really bothered by cold and snow the way humans are. One of many mysteries of life.
