This little dog toy lay for a couple of days, lost and forlorn, on a post at Dungeness Recreation Area. It had the distinct markings of a beloved toy: slobber marks where a dog mouth would go.
It was gone on the third day. I hope it was reunited with a happy dog. Or maybe there’s a coyote out there with a new friend.
I like to think coyote…but the color may have put the coyotes off. I’ve heard they are adverse to ugly greens. 🙂 Seriously, I hope whoever has it is enjoying the goofy little thing.
Hopefully it found its way back where it belongs!
