There are a lot of seals in waters around here. They’re curious critters and it’s not uncommon to see a sleek head bob up to take a look at people on shore. This is the first time I’ve managed to snap quickly enough to catch a seal checking me out.

What a fantastic photo. Seals are fun to watch. We used to see lots of them in the Alaskan waters when we lived there.
Perfection – they are indeed sneaky little critters to catch above water. I’ve yet to get a really good closeup like this.

Hi Kay, re your question: I’m guessing this vehicle was “repossessed” from drug dealers or such and thus has fancy wheels unlike those you’d see on a “normal” police vehicle. 🙂
