Corn

Sunny Farms was recently voted #1 in produce in Clallam County by Peninsula Daily News and Sequim Gazette readers. Based strictly on the corn I’ve gotten there lately, it’s a hands down winner in my book. I’ve commuted to Sunny Farms regularly for the last few weeks to get fresh corn and cantaloupe. I can’t seem to get enough. Summer deliciousness!

  1. I am so jealous! That looks like a produce paradise! We just don’t have that kind of thing here. We have farmer’s markets and they have some decent stuff but nothing like this!

  2. Oh two of our favorites – I just shucked 6 ears of corn and cut up a cantalope – with a tomato ready to chop for tacos tonight and fresh crisp lettuce – we are enjoying fresh summer food every day.. Peaches tomorrow!! And I baked a Gravenstein apple crisp this morning before it got too hot.
