Got resolutions?

Dec sunset

Ok. I’ll admit to cheap metaphor, especially on the last day of 2014. But I like sunsets. And as the days got shorter and shorter it seemed like they were rolling around mighty fast this month. Get up, have breakfast. Do stuff. Have lunch. What? The sun’s setting already??

Goodbye, 2014!

And now it’s time for resolutions to welcome in a new year. I think I’ll work on getting up a little earlier. Try to see more daylight before the next sunset rolls around. How about you? What’s on your list?

  1. OH our sunsets are so wonderful – even though they come so early – I agree, seems the day is just getting started and then the sun is going down.

I don’t have any specific resolutions – I’d like to take more time for myself without any guilt – maybe spend some time at Birch Bay alone – a whole day now and then, all to myself. I’m an early riser so that one is easy for me – staying awake after 8:30 is a problem though – unless I’m into an interesting project.

    Happy New Year my friend!

  2. A gorgeous sunset. I saw the sunrise for the first time in quite awhile this morning… probably because it was getting up near ten to eight in the morning!

    Happy New Year!

  3. And a Happy New Year to you. Love the sunset. My resolution this year is to make no new resolutions. I think I’ll be able to keep that one!

  4. Your sky looks great at this time of year.

Resolutions? Nah. I haven’t made resolutions in years. Just take each day as it comes and try to enjoy them.

But, Kay, I DO have a wish for you: Enjoy 2015 to the max. OK?
