Giving thanks

Squash

I know I’m very lucky. I have a lot to be thankful for and I do my best to remember that daily. I hope you too are blessed.

It’s Thanksgiving Day in the U.S. today and I wish a happy one to you who are celebrating this holiday. And a good day, too, to you who aren’t.

  1. Interesting photo. Reminds me of what people say – that I’m out of my gourd! But I know I’ve got a lot to be thankful for and one of the blessings is people who care. So thank you! And I’m wishing you a wonderful day with your family!

  2. Thanks, all!
This basket is filled with delicata squash I grew this summer…a favorite winter squash that I grew for the first time. I’m pleased with the results…and recommend delicata squash if you see them for sale.

  3. Sometimes it is hard to be thankful, if one has serious issues yet regardless of circumstances, we are pretty lucky! Our grandkids commented on family as their thanks, for which I am grateful. I sincerely hope that as they mature they recognize all areas that bless us. After years of travel to some pretty interesting countries, I remain forever grateful that I live here, despite some of our very minor and serious “warts.” Lovely photo for the day!
