Cruise ships on their way to and from Alaska are a regular sight on the Strait of Juan de Fuca during the summer months. The season’s just about over. This is one of the last until next year. It’s heading into a lovely Pacific sunset.

June ’15 I’m on one of these ships… going south to the heat though.
It looks very attractive in that setting yet I have never had a yen to take a cruise. I wonder if I should change my mind? Don’t think so; I used to watch the ships dock when we lived in Mazatlán during some winter months, and it was amazing how they could turn on a dime!
