We had several days of summery weather this week and I saw some fields being hayed. Rain was forecast again starting today so farmers were working against a weather deadline.

What a wonderful, benign photo. And not a gator in sight. Seriously, it’s a lovely shot with all that green and blue and the mountains. Maybe more serene than benign. You need not fear gators; they only eat once a month. 🙂

Rain is such a treasure and needed badly in so many areas of our country, but it certainly can do a lot of damage, as I listen to the fans drying my basement carpet. Your farmers really need to stay ahead of the weather.
