We were still getting snow at fairly low elevations until a couple of weeks ago. I was driving on a road at an elevation slightly over 1,000 feet when I saw this cabin which appeared to be in the process disappearing into a hill.

Doesn’t it make you wonder at the story behind this building? At one time it was new (when?) and the owner was probably proud of his barn (?) or abode (?)
