Eagle on the bluff

We had a nice little dusting of snow yesterday. It fell steadily during my walk to the Dungeness bluffs, where I saw this eagle taking in the sights. No zoom lens. Falling snow. But I find eagles exciting enough that I’ll take the shots I can get.

  1. So glad that you were able to capture the shots, esp..the top one, even without a zoom lens. Their is a Raptor Center at the Univ. of MN that rescues and helps cure our Eagles, esp. those suffering from lead poisoning from shotgun bullets. Eagles often eat what the hunters leave and are thus infected. They are such regal birds, and it’s a loss when any of them die.
