Best of the Peninsula – Hearing Aids and Hot Dogs

Voting in the Best of the Peninsula poll conducted by the Peninsula Daily News features many “best of” opportunities for businesses on the Olympic Peninsula. Today’s winner, Costco, offers one stop shopping in two categories: hearing aids and hot dogs.

I’ve not explored the hearing aid department but have dined on Costco hot dogs in California, Oregon, and Washington.  For $1.50 you can’t beat a Costco hot dog — the ones in Sequim are a good tube steak fix. And I suppose you can enjoy a quiet lunch at Costco while you wait for your hearing aid to arrive. . .

  1. Not to mention the friendly and helpdul people who work at the Sequim Costco. I must say, however, have found that to be true every place we’ve been in Sequim. It’s been a real pleasure to be in Sequim and will be back soon – and Costco will be a stop as well as exploring many local businesses for this and that.

  2. I grew up with tube steak having a different meaning so that commentary made me laugh. I haven’t had Costco hot dogs or hearing aids either, but I do like to shop there and I do notice the food court area packed a lot of the time.
