Best of the Peninsula – Clothing

Here’s another Sequim selection from the Peninsula Daily News voting on “Best of the Peninsula.” JC Penney was voted best in the “clothing” category.

They must have known I was coming, because they moved a selection of their clothes out front so you could get a view of what’s on offer. Sorry the price tags are so hard to read.

There are places to buy clothing here and there on the Olympic Peninsula, but if you’re a serious clotheshorse the nearest racetrack is the mall in Silverdale, or you’ll want a trip to Seattle.

  1. I hadn’t been inside a Penney’s store for years until recently, and I definitely am returning. I entered because I was told that my favorite brand of jeans were sold there, and indeed they were plus they carried “short” jeans. Hoorah!

  2. There is something special about shopping inside these smaller scaled down stores….I am not a clothing hound (horse?) but I do enjoy this small Penneys! You can certainly “see it all” in just a short time.

  3. I’m with you, Patricia! The smaller scale is easier to navigate & a real boon if you’re not interested in spending a lot of time shopping.
