Five Acre goats

These two goats are residents at Five Acre School. They are friendly and, I suspect, a little lonely as they wait for children to come back to school again and give them snacks. The school is located next to the Dungeness Recreation Area and students are often taken out onto the trails as part of their school day. We’ve also seen children getting horseback riding lessons and there’s a talented marimba band that performs publicly. Makes my old grammar school seem very dull by comparison.

  1. What sweet faces! I don’t think I’ve ever noticed the unusual pupils of a goat before, straight rather than round.

  2. I’d love to go visit them to give them some company, what cute faces. Looks like a great place for kids.
