Dandelions seem to be everywhere right now! Last week I dug up all that were on our back property and yellow. Two days later you’d never known I dug any up, there were yellow heads everywhere. Driving around I see them everywhere.

They have roots that go half way to China and love to regenerate after you dig them. We’ve poured boiling water on them to try killing them. . .they seem to laugh and come right back. The leaves are very nutritious; I’ve read they’re tastier when young.
Without knowing them as “weeds”, they have a daintiness about them in your photo. My father used to make dandelion wine…num!
Wait. These are weeds? They make up most of the gardens around my town… who woulda thought? 😉
