A group of birds did this wave pattern around this boater, it looked cool in person. They were so quick back and forth. I’m not sure what they are? I barely had time to take a few pictures and then I turned the camera to video because I wanted to capture the motion of them and in that instant they were gone.

Unusual. It is hard to understand how thousands of birds communicate and coordinate so that they all move quickly as one.
