Juice o matic

This vintage juicemaker sits on the counter at Olympic Restaurant Equipment.  In answer to Patricia’s question  yesterday…a stock pot is on my list for Mother’s Day.  Bebe, the cat, will get it for me.

  1. I have one of these in my cabinet!!! Years ago we had a Fruitman (arrived in his pickup loaded with citrus and vegetables) in addition to the Milkman and Breadman. Anyone else old enough to remember these guys? We bought tons of oranges and my Mom used this device to make fresh orange juice. She used to laugh about her biceps being very strong! Mine doesn’t look as nice as this one…it is all metal and weighs a ton!

  2. I have one of these that I got at an estate auction for like 2 dollars. It is amazing!! you can juice limes, lemons, oranges, even grapefruits(cut into quarters). Its easy. Sometimes it can take a bit of force for a harder fruit, but you get a ton of juice. Mine looks like this only a bit more beat up with a red base. I wouldn’t sell this thing for a thousand dollars. I great, useful, and beautiful tool for anyones kitchen.
