Lonesome

rvs.jpg On the corner of Gilbert Road and Highway 101 stands a fleet of recreational vehicles.   With the rising price of gas, I wonder if they will ever be sold and “hit the road” again.  Our area is a gateway to recreation spots on the Olympic Peninsula.  With gas forecasted to go up another 30 cents in the not to distant future, I wonder how many that already have owners will just stay parked this summer.

  1. Gas has gone up here about 30 cents in one day and is now about $3.60 a gallon for regular. $4.00 a gallon is just around the corner. Rice went up a tremendous amount and that is causing a panic in the Far East.

  2. Awesome row of vehicles! Perhaps in the future we’ll all become better consumers. We’re thinking of hybrids for the long haul.

  3. My husband is in the rv business and oddly enough they aren’t usually too effected by rising gas prices. But I don’t know ,this is ridiculously high. I think we should all start riding horses!
