Today is Theme Day, in the DP community, and I can’t wait to view the pictures 52 photographers choose as their Picture of the Year. My year has only been a little over 4 months, and I had a devil of a time. (I changed the photo 3 times.)

doesn’t matter if you’re only 4 months old cos this shot is well worth it. beautiful choice. Have a great new year!
What a peaceful view! I like your choice.
Happy New Year Norma! Best wishes to you for the new year!
Beautiful!!
Happy New Year from Albuquerque Daily Photo!
Nice reflective shot of reflections — all best for 2007
The selection process was hard and fun at the same time. Of your photos I would have selected one of the following:
December 29, 2006 – Frozen Fence Post
December 14, 2006 – Miles of Ribbon
December 2, 2006 – Night Light
October 5, 2006 – Proud Eagle
September 23, 2006 – Vancouver Island
September 8, 2006 – Sunset At Fort Flagler
Happy New Year from Buenos Aires daily 🙂
Happy New Year from Phoenix Az! Beautiful shot, I’ll bet its even better in person.
Lovely photo – looks like summer… Happy New Year!
Hi “LL!” Happy 2007! Ahhhhhhhhhh…love shots like this…so “reflective” — no pun intended! 😉 Makes me ponder the new year and what goals I should set for myself…have quite a few biggies! Take care, Ame =)
Ah, this is a provocative photo. It seems to give off mixed messages. The still waters beckon but the barbed wire forbids. I don’t know whether to approach or avoid.
Perfect metaphor, really, for the turning of the year.
Best wishes to you, Lavender Lady.
Norma it is beautiful. I have so enjoyed your four months as a photo blogger. Keep up the great work!
Norma, this is a lovely time of day with beautiful lighting. I hope you have a blast photographing and sharing with us in 2007!

Looks like a magical spot….and it is most definitely a magical photo! I look forward to your photos in 2007-keep up the great work!
Happy New Year from your friends in Minneapolis!
Nice choice – it’s the kind of view I imagine people move there for! Happy New Year – here’s to more wonderful photos and more new friends in 2007.
Norma, this shot is so very lovely. I liked Annie’s metaphore observation very much. Isn’t it wonderful when people look so closely at your photos and gain such insights?! You live in a place many dream of calling home. Friends of ours whose parents live there are driving to see us on their way home to California tomorrow, and we have another set of friends who want to move there. With shots like this, you make us all drool!!! I’m wishing you much happiness in this New Year. It’s taken me all day in fits and starts to get to Sequim, and I’ve a few more to go to visit all 52 of today’s photos. Thanks for being a frequent commentor at SDP!
